PS5 Restock: Best Buy, GameStop, Antonline, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – September 13-19

After another quiet week, could this month’s biggest PS5 restock wave be taking place between September 13-19?

It’s official: September has been a terrible month for PS5 restocks so far. However, we’re hoping that this week will be the one to finally end the drought.

We recently got a massive leak for a new PlayStation Experience event in December! And that’s coming hot on the heels of this week’s PlayStation Showcase, which already had plenty of reveals.

Both Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine are PS5 exclusives too! So if you’re looking to enjoy Insomniac Games’ latest offerings, you’ll need a next-gen console.

What’s more, it seems that Call of Duty Vanguard is unplayable on PS4 too, judging by the recent Beta. If you’re hoping to play this year’s COD title, you’ll want to upgrade your hardware ASAP.

And, as we arrive in a new week, here’s where to find all the PS5 restocks from September 13-19:

Make sure to check our PS5 Stock Trackers for lightning-fast updates when new consoles go live:

Best Buy PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock Best Buy

Best Buy PS5 Restock Date: September 14-16

For weeks now, those with an invested interest in restocks have known that a big Best Buy PS5 restock is coming. Strangely, however, we’ve been waiting for quite a few weeks for the large drop to arrive.

We’re hoping that this will be the week for Best Buy’s return to grace, and the retailer does tend to go live between Tuesday – Thursday. Keep a close eye on our restock tracker above to avoid disappointment!

GameStop PS5 Restock

GameStop PS5 Restock

GameStop PS5 Restock Date: September 14

In the last few months, GameStop has really stepped up its game and become one our top PS5 restockers. However, there’s a catch.

Lately, you’ve only been able to buy a next-gen console from GameStop as a PowerUp Rewards Pro member. With that in mind, we recommend signing up for the membership system for first dibs on any upcoming PS5 drops.

UPDATE: GameStop is now live with PS5 consoles!

Not only will you be given a heads-up about any upcoming PS5 restocks at GameStop, your membership will give you an early shot at the drop too.

Antonline PS5 Restock

PS5 at AntOnline

Antonline PS5 Restock Date: September 13 (Confirmed)

Although Antonline isn’t a major retailer, it appears to be one of the places that most regularly restocks the PS5. We didn’t get a restock last week, but we expect another drop this time around.

Last time Antonline did a PlayStation drop, it was only the Digital Edition consoles that were available. With that in mind, perhaps a larger Disc supply will be arriving this week.

UPDATE: Antonline is now live!

Bear in mind that Antonline only ever sells next-gen consoles in bundles. You’ll pay a little more for your PS5 but Antonline’s bundles do help discourage scalpers.

Walmart PS5 Restock

Walmart PS5 Restock

Walmart PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Although Walmart hasn’t had a PS5 restock in the last two weeks, it rarely misses a chance to go live with a new drop. The reason for this is simple – Walmart sells PS5 consoles it doesn’t have yet.

Buy from Walmart and you’re really just entering a waiting list, so don’t expect your console anytime soon. In fact, Walmart customers from early August still haven’t had their PS5 shipped.

Last month we did notice that some Walmart stores have PS5 stock for walk-ins, however. We recommend checking your local store to avoid having to deal with Walmart’s awful Press & Hold button system.

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock Date: September 14 (Confirmed)

As the manufacturer of the PS5, Sony was one of the only places to actually drop the console last week. However, the PlayStation Direct store doesn’t tend to have stock every time around.

Now that a new PS5 redesign is arriving in stores, it’ll be interesting to see how it affects stock levels in the future. Emails will go out shortly if PlayStation is planning another restock, and we’ll update you as we hear more.

Target PS5 Restock

PS5 Target

Target PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

After waiting for a couple of weeks for a drop we knew was coming, Target finally went live with PS5 stock on September 10. Given that it took quite a while for the retailer to gather up stock, we don’t know that it’ll be able to go live again anytime soon.

But, with the recent announcement that Target restock drops are returning, perhaps Target has a second week of supply ready. After all, the recent drop seemed like a rather small one, considering that so many stores were meant to have stock this time around.

Amazon PS5 Restock

PS5 at Amazon

Amazon PS5 Restock Date: Unlikely This Week

It’s fair to say that Amazon is the most unpredictable retailer on the market. Recently, the online store went live with 2 consecutive weeks of drops – and we don’t expect more anytime soon.

If we had to bet, we’d predict no more Amazon PS5 restocks until October at the earliest. Then again, perhaps the store will surprise us all once more.

That’s all we know about the PS5 restock wave from September 13-19 right now, but we’ll add in any new information as it arrives.

In other PlayStation news, Thor is fat in God of War Ragnarok and gamers aren’t happy

Check out the full God of War Ragnarok trailer here for our first look at Kratos’ new adventure. We’ve also got a new Spider-Man 2 trailer featuring Venom!

And PlayStation fans aren’t happy about scalpers still keeping supply low. In fact, there’s a new petition to make PS5 scalping illegal.

So far it’s been a slow month of PS5 restocks, which makes it hard to believe Sony’s claims that PS5 stock issues are coming to an end!

I'd love to hear from a real person who has been able to find one in these "restocks". None of these reports have panned out and it's frustrating as hell that nobody is calling this site out.
