PS5 Restock: Best Buy, Antonline, GameStop, PlayStation Direct & More Expected to Drop This Week – July 12-18

It’s another week for those waiting on a PS5 restock – here are the retailers to watch from July 12-18.

It’s official – the hunt for a PS5 has now been going on for 8 months. Ever since the console’s initial release in November 2020, the next-gen console hasn’t been in stock for more than a few minutes at a time.

Now, after a fantastic PlayStation State of Play event, hype for Sony’s newest console is at an all-time high. And with a PlayStation Summer showcase around the corner too, it won’t be long before more fans than ever are trying to grab a PS5.

Thankfully, we’ve got an array of new console drops coming this week. It’s no wonder that Sony believes PS5 stock issues are coming to an end soon!

Without further delay, here’s where to find a PS5 restock in the week running July 12-18.

Make sure to check our PS5 Stock Trackers for lightning-fast updates when new consoles go live:

Best Buy PS5 Restock

PS5 at Best Buy

Best Buy PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Although Best Buy wasn’t one of last week’s restockers, it’s not unlikely that we’ll see another drop this week. After all, the site did have PS5s in stock for 2 weeks in a row before this week’s break.

Traditionally, Best Buy goes live on Thursdays, however, it occasionally surprises us with a Tuesday release. Keep your eyes on our stock trackers and never miss a drop when a PS5 goes live.

Antonline PS5 Restock

PS5 at AntOnline

Antonline PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

When it comes to PS5 restocks, Antonline is one of the most consistent online retailers out there. Although the store isn’t on everyone’s radar, it always has new consoles in stock with each passing week.

Bear in mind, Antonline always sells PS5s in bundles, meaning that you’ll be paying a higher price for the console. However, it’s been known to be one of the easiest stores to buy from – you just have to get there first.

GameStop PS5 Restock

PS5 at GameStop

GameStop PS5 Restock Date: July 15 (8 AM PT)

Recently, GameStop has been picking up the slack as one of the biggest PS5 restockers to watch. However, it’s the company’s PowerUp Rewards Pro members that have the best chance at a next-gen console when drops go live.

This week’s GameStop Pro members get early access to the restock at 8 AM PT, July 15. It’s likely worth your time signing up for the subscription service, however, non-members also get a shot at buying a console.

However, don’t forget that PS5 consoles are also coming to GameStop in-store soon, according to rumors.

As one final note, LordOfRestocks on Twitter reports that using Apple Pay at GameStop will lead to the easiest possible checkout of a PS5. Be sure to set it up early for the best results!

PlayStation Direct

PS5 restock

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

One of the best places to buy a console is straight from the manufacturer, and PlayStation Direct doesn’t often let us down. Unfortunately, we’ve had 2 weeks of rare misses for Sony’s online store, but consoles were available in the two weeks prior.

Because of this, we expect stock to return to PlayStation this week, and invites will likely be going out very shortly. Remember, you’re still able to nab a PS5 even without an invite, it’s just notably more difficult.

Target PS5 Restock

PS5 Target In-Store Restock

Target PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

After 2 weeks of waiting, Target finally had its big PS5 restock. However, it’s not uncommon for the store to have a second, smaller drop ready thanks to leftover stock and canceled orders.

With that in mind, we’re not ruling out a Target drop this week, although it seems unlikely. Don’t forget that PS5 restocks are getting huge changes at Target in recent weeks!

What’s more, it looks as though PS5 stock is being sold in-store at Target too!

Walmart PS5 Restock

PS5 at Walmart

Walmart PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

It’s been a couple of weeks since the last Walmart PS5 restock, and it appears that successful buyers aren’t waiting as long to get their orders as usual. With that in mind, perhaps Walmart will have another PS5 drop this week.

However, you may not have to wait for another online drop.

After all, it looks as though Walmart has PS5 stock arriving for in-store pickup. We recommend taking care when buying online from this store anyway, as scalpers are currently selling PS5s on Walmart’s website for huge prices!

Amazon PS5 Restock

PS5 at Amazon

Amazon PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

There’s no way to predict when Amazon will be dropping PS5 consoles, as the online retailer appears to pick dates completely at random. The exception to the rule was last month, where we were able to predict a restock for Amazon Prime Day.

Now that Prime Day is over, we’ve seen the retailer go live with Disc and Digital PS5 stock. But one Amazon employee is leaking thousands of extra PS5 consoles are ready to ship!

That’s all we know about the PS5 restock wave from July 12-18 right now, but be sure to stay tuned for updated information as it arrives.

In case you missed it, we got an exciting new Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PS5 this week! And Ghost of Tsushima also has a Director’s Cut, with both games getting new content on release.

What’s more, there are more details about Elden Ring’s story, gameplay, combat, and lore right here!

Although PS5 stock shortages will continue into 2022, we’re glad that the restocks are still coming frequently!
