PS VR2 Release Date Delayed to 2023, Suggests Analyst

Playstation’s highly anticipated PS VR2 has been seemingly delayed to 2023 due to some internal delays.

The PS VR2 was first revealed in February and showcased many improvements, including a wholly redesigned virtual headset.

Since then, Playstation has kept quiet about any official release date despite rumors indicating they aimed for a Holiday 2022 release.

According to Twitter Analyst Ross Young, the PS VR2 has been delayed to 2023.

This news may surprise a few since Playstation has yet to give out an official release date or launch window. But there had been many rumors that we would be seeing a PS5 VR showcase in the next few months.

Now it looks like Sony could not meet some of the internal deadlines it had set for itself.

Everything is speculation, but it seemed like Sony was gearing up for something big with the PS5 VR this year.

A recent leak showcased the full specs of the Playstation VR2 and even listed some potential games.

One of those titles is a brand new story in the Horizon franchise. Another is Wipeout which is rumored to be making a return on the PS5 alongside the PS5 VR version.
