PS Plus January 2021 Full Line-Up Revealed

Looking forward to learning what free games are coming to PS Plus this January? Fill your boots!

We published a speculation piece yesterday revealing all the different games rumored to be coming to PS Plus in January 2021.

Unlike last month where one leaker was correct, this time nobody was! No matter, Sony has finally revealed what really is coming to PS Plus this January.

While it’s not a particularly mind-blowing line-up, it’s likely to get some people excited.

PlayStation Plus January 2021 Free Games

Here’s what free games will be coming to PS Plus this January:

Free PS5 Game: Maneater

Swim around the ocean as a giant shark eating nasty humans who’ve wronged you. That’s the premise of Maneater - and the game does exactly what it says on the tin.

It’s fun, but it certainly doesn’t do anything exceptional. Although we must say, it does look rather glorious in 4K. Maneater is this month's free PS5 title for PS Plus members.

Greedfall (PS4)

Assassin’s Creed 3 meets Thief with a little bit of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt thrown in for good measure. While not the most critically acclaimed PS4 game of all time, Greedfall is a fun adventure that blends history with fantasy during America's colonial era.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4)

Lara’s third and most recent adventure since the series was rebooted back in 2013. This game features a much more battle-hardened version of Lara Croft as she explores ancient ruins in South America.

Out of all three games coming to PS Plus this January, this one may be considered the most ‘triple-A’. Although, we’re also looking forward to being a megalodon-sized shark for a while and chowing down on some fools.

If you’re a PS Plus member, you’ll also get access to the PS Plus Library; here’s how we think Sony will expand on that in the coming months.

If you're still trying to secure a PS5 console, check out our PS5 stock tracker for updates and alerts. We'd recommend it because this is how quickly PS5s have been selling out once back in stock.
