PS Plus April 2023 Games – Are They Worth Playing?

Rage war against frogs, ensnare custodians in your traps, and take Sackboy on an adventure with these PS Plus titles.

Sony just recently revealed their line up of PS Plus titles for April 2023, and it seems fans of challenging level design will have their hands full with these three games.

Every month PlayStation Plus aims to bring games that players will enjoy and can add to their library to maximize the value they receive from the service.

The PlayStation Plus April 2023 line-up includes Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Tails of Iron.

  • Meet Your Maker – PS4 & PS5
    • Players must face the creativity of other players in this post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game where players design the levels.
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure – PS4 & PS5
    • One of the most iconic PlayStation heroes, Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet), returns for a new 3D multiplayer platforming adventure.
  • Tails of Iron – PS4 & PS5
    • This hand-drawn story transports players on a war-plagued adventure with punishing combat as they reclaim the Rat Throne.

Meet Your Maker – PS4, PS5

Meet Your Maker is worth a try due to its unique take on user-generated content. Try the base building, and see if you enjoy the combat and exploration.

This game is probably unlike any game you’ve played before. The basic premise boils down to building your base, setting up defenses, raiding other bases, and upgrading everything.

The concept is simple, but mastering it is where the fun comes in. Every level that you face is another Outpust built by another player. You’ll need to set out and gather materials from other Outposts to upgrade your base.

In the same vein, players will need to build up their own defenses to protect themselves from other players.

With the influx into the community from PS Plus, you can expect to see plenty of other players learning the basics. It’s a great time to jump in and raid some Outposts.

  • Genre – Action, Strategy
  • Developer – Behaviour Digital Inc.
    • Dead By Deadlight
  • Metacritic – N/A
  • # of Players – 1-2
