PS Direct PS5 Restock Invites Being Sent Out for February 22

PS Direct is once again back to invite potential buyers for the opportunity to purchase a PS5 this coming February 22 during a restock event.

Even nearly two years after the release of the PlayStation 5, there are still plenty of people that have not been able to get their hands on one. This is due to their availability being so low.

Sony has already confirmed that its scarcity will continue throughout all of 2022 as well, unfortunately.

But, PS Direct is holding a PS5 Restock event and invites are already being sent out!

PS Direct Email Invites Confirm February 22 Restock

A few lucky customers will be able to purchase a PlayStation 5 through a PS Direct email invite being sent out for February 22.

Unfortunately, only those lucky enough to receive this email will have an invitation to purchase the console. If you haven’t already, make sure you register for the opportunity to receive one of these email invites!

This PS Direct PS5 restock will take place on February 22 from 11:00 to 16:00 PT.

Check out the official email here:

If you have not received an email you will not be able to join the queue. Invites do not guarantee that everyone will get a PS5. It will still sell out quickly. Even though PS Direct is one of the best places to purchase a PS5.

If you did receive an email then make sure to join the queue as close to the starting time as possible.

Controller PS5 Restock

Hopefully, Sony begins to restock the PS5 more frequently as demand for it hasn’t seen any decline since its release.

If you’re not able to participate in the PS5 Direct Invite then make sure you check out your local retailers as many are expected to restock this week!

Got my Disk version after only waiting a half hour in the lobby waiting for entry into the store. Hit the invite button at 11:00AM PT and checked out with my console and one controller by 11:31AM PT and they kept me updated on my place in line

Despite notice of only one console per household, once I received email confirmation, I put another diskless version into my cart and got all the way to the point of confirming my CVC number before I cancelled the sale. I think that I probably could have gotten around the limit but I didn't want to deprive someone else

I will feel more confident when I get a ship notice but SONY did right by this release in my opinion
