The rumors were true, and ‘Princess Peach Showtime’ is indeed the name of Peach’s brand new standalone game!

The September 2023 Nintendo Direct was one of the worst-kept secrets in recent history. Even before the event was officially announced, we were certain that it would be coming, due to the fact that there has been a Nintendo Direct every September since all the way back in 2016.

Now, we’ve finally got confirmation that Princess Peach Showtime is making its way to Nintendo Switch early next year.

Princess Peach Showtime Release Date

Princess Peach Showtime will release on March 22, 2024, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for the new game are going live today on the Nintendo eShop.

Princess Peach Showtime was confirmed during the September Nintendo Direct, and you can check out the game’s full trailer below!

In Showtime, Peach will transform into a number of stage personas, in order to combat the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch.

But we already had an idea that Princess Peach Showtime was on the way.

Reliable leaker Pyoro actually teased the game’s name in a post that not many fans appeared to pick up on.

One of the user’s more recent leaks simply read ‘It’s finally Princess Peach showtime’ in Japanese.

The leaker goes on to state ‘whoever says no name reveal for that game should delete their account’, which definitely indicated that a name reveal was coming.
