Predicting January 2021’s PS Plus Free Games Line-Up

January 2021's PS Plus line-up will be the second on PS5. Lets predict which free games will be coming this month.

Sony will officially announce the January's 2021 PS Plus line up tomorrow on Wednesday the 30th of December. Like last month, it's a big deal.

That's because it's the second PS Plus line-up to appear on PS5 since the console launched back in November.

As the console has now been out for over a month, all eyes are now on the post launch PS Plus content. – As this could set the tone for Sony's plans going forward.

However, we expect it to follow a similar pattern to what it did on PS4. Meaning a few indy titles and the monthly triple-A one – with an occasional gem appearing now and again.

The current PS Plus line-up from January includes Just Cause 4 and Rocket Arena as the free PS4 games, while Worms Rumble and Bugsnax PS5 titles.

So if you've not downloaded or added these titles to your library, do it now before they disappear. That way, you'll have them available for as long as you're a PS Plus member.

What Will January 2021's PS Plus Line-Up Include?

While we have 24 hours to wait until Sony officially announces January 2021's PS Plus line-up, the rumor mill is already swirling.

Last month two lists were doing the rounds; one was correct. But the second (arguably better one) turned out to be incorrect.

This month the games rumored are Uncharted Lost Legacy, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Dark Souls Remastered and Hitman 2 as the free PS4 games coming to PS Plus.

While others suggest Watch Dogs 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, Firewatch and MediEvil will be the titles coming to January 2021's PS Plus line-up.

Planet Coaster has been predicted as the free PS5 game this month. But take all this with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation from Sony.

We've also made some predictions about how Sony will expand the PS Plus Library on PS5. A service that lets PS5 owners play a selection of enhanced PS4 games as part of their subscription.
