Pre-orders for the new Limited Edition Spider-Man 2 PS5 console and controller are very high in demand and expected to sell out fast. Thankfully, we’ve been through this sort of thing several times before and know exactly what to do to increase your chances of checking out:

• Log into PS Direct and other retailers (Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, etc.) in advance.
• Have payment and shipping info saved on your account and readily available.
• Set a reminder for when pre-orders go live (10 AM local time on July 28) and head to the websites well in advance.
  • Pre-orders are expected to go live at PS Direct first, with other retailers to follow at unspecified times.

• If you’ve been charged but haven’t received confirmation, check your account order history to ensure your order has gone through.
• It is normal for your payment to be refunded on PS Direct, as they charge your card immediately as a preauthorization to verify valid payment. The charge will be refunded until just before release.
