Pokemon Unite’s next balance update is here and there are some big changes to Blissey in Version 22.214.171.124 – coming September 8.
Recently, we had a major Pokemon Unite update that brought Blastoise to the game at last. However, to our surprise, the update didn’t come accompanied with a set of lengthy patch notes.
In MOBAs like Unite, it often takes a few significant updates before the game’s meta falls into a good spot. But, judging by the latest Pokemon Unite Tier List, Tencent has already done an excellent job of keeping things balanced.
Strangely enough, the new Pokemon Unite Version 126.96.36.199 patch notes area announcing buffs to Blissey. And with the Supporter Pokemon already being one of the game’s strongest choices, this top-tier pick just got even better!
Pokemon Unite September 8 Patch Notes – Version 188.8.131.52
Here are the official Pokemon Unite patch notes for Version 184.108.40.206 – released on September 8:
The following stats have been increased:
- Sp. Def
- Removes all status conditions from the user and the designated ally Pokémon and grants both Pokémon a shield. While these shields are active, the shielded Pokémon become immune to hindrances.
- Cooldown reduced.
- Area of effect increased.
- Upgrade: Increases the amount of damage nullified by the shield effect.
On top of Blissey’s significant buffs, the update also vaguely announced that ‘Bug Fixes, Text Fixes, and Shop Updates’ are present in 220.127.116.11.
Take a look at the best Blissey Build in Pokemon Unite here!
It looks as though the new patch aims to buff Blissey’s Safeguard move significantly, to help it compete with Soft Boiled. But the tanky Supporter Pokemon is also getting a general buff to its Sp. Def, which is an interesting decision.
With these changes, we wonder if Blissey will rise even further up the Pokemon Unite Tier List soon.
Meanwhile, there’s a new glitch giving Crustle unlimited Unite Moves in Pokemon Unite which makes it a must-pick Defender right now.
And there are 2 new Pokemon coming to Pokemon Unite soon!
