Cinderace Build – Pokemon Unite

Evolution

You start off the game as Scorbunny and then evolve to Raboot at level 5. Finally, at level 7, you evolve to become Cinderace.

Unique Abilities

Moves

Blaze – Increases critical-hit rate and attack speed at low HP. Using moves boosts your next basic attack. Whenever you hit an opposing Pokémon a certain number of times, they take extra damage.

Basic Attack – Every third attack does increased damage.

Level 1 / 3

Like all characters in Pokemon Unite, you get two choices of move to pick from with Cinderace.

Ember – 6s Cooldown – Tosses a fireball at an enemy, dealing immediate damage, damage over time, and decreasing their Attack.

Low Sweep – 7.5s Cooldown – Does a kick that hits all opposing Pokémon in the designated direction.

Most players opt to pick Ember first to do more damage at range. However, Low Sweep is also a good choice if you prefer to get closer to your opponents.

Level 7

Pyro Ball – 7s Cooldown – Kick a fireball at opponents, dealing damage and leaving them burned, causing damage over time.
Upgrade: Reduces the cooldown of Flame Charge or Feint when this move hits.

Blaze Kick – 8s Cooldown – Attacks with a flaming kick, causing a critical hit and burning the opposing Pokémon. While using, you’re immune to hindrances.
Upgrade – Increased Attack Speed

Again, most players opt for the ranged option, in this case it’s Pyro Ball. However, Blaze Kick is still a good option too.

Level 8

Flame Charge – 8s Cooldown – Charge forward dealing damage to all Pokémon you charge through.
Upgrade: Your next boosted attack slows the movement speed of the opposing Pokémon hit.

Feint – 13s Cooldown – Increase your movement speed and makes you invincible. Also removes all hindrances.
Upgrade: After the move, basic attacks will heal you (up to three attacks).

The option you should pick here depends on your last move choice because these move go together well with one of the others you just chose. Select Flame Charge if you picked Pyro Ball at level 7, or pick Feint if you chose Blaze Kick.

  • Limit yourself to 1 on 1 battles, you won’t be able to take on two opposing Pokemon at once.
  • Make use of more detailed aiming to hit moving targets at range – you won’t hit all your shots if you don’t aim carefully.
  • Make sure to use clever movement to flank opponets and support your team as a secondary attacker.
