If you’re looking to get your hands on the highly sought-after Pokemon Squishmallows, here’s when and where you can buy the rare plush toys.

Squishmallow fever is still gripping the nation and it’s no surprise that the Pokemon variants are perhaps the most popular versions yet.

Whether you’re a Squishmallow collector or simply a Pokemon fan, these must-have items are proving exceptionally difficult to come by. With that in mind, we’ve compiled all the information you need to know about the exclusive Pokemon Squishmallows into one convenient guide.

Where to Buy Pokemon Squishmallows

For now, the only official location to buy the Pokemon Squishmallows is the Pokemon Center website, where the 12-inch versions are on sale for $29.99 each. However, both products are currently sold out.

There is also evidence to suggest that brick-and-mortar retailers, such as Walmart, will be selling the exclusive Squishmallows in February 2023.

Recently, fans started noticing that Walmart has Pokemon Squishmallows in select stores. However, when trying to purchase them, many customers were unable to checkout, as the toys were listed as ‘recalled’ on the Walmart systems.

For the time being, the only other way to get your hands on a Pokemon Squishmallow is by taking to reselling sites such as eBay. However, scalpers are currently driving up prices, leading to listings upwards of $90 being common while supply is so slow.

Are Pokemon Squishmallows Being Recalled?

No, it does not appear that Pokemon Squishmallows are being recalled, at least not for health and safety reasons. The products likely appear as ‘recalled’ at certain checkouts due to the fact that they’re not meant to be sold in stores just yet.

In a recent statement to Polygon, Squishmallow maker Jazwares confirmed that the Pokemon line of Squishmallows was put out too early at several stores, explaining the recall.

When Will Pokemon Squishmallows Restock?

According to Jazwares via Polygon, more Pokemon Squishmallows are expected to restock in February 2023. The company representative confirmed that the next drop should arrive just before Spring, though an exact date is yet to be specified at this time.

Judging by the fact that the Pokemon Squishmallows are surfacing at Walmart, we imagine that the items will no longer be online-exclusive. However, we’ll have to wait and see exactly when the retailer is able to officially sell the plush toys.

As soon as more information surfaces regarding the Squishmallows x Pokemon line-up, we’ll update this article.
