What Is Pokemon Sleep?

Pokemon Sleep is a new mobile game that allows players to progress by getting a good night’s rest.

The game is played by placing a mobile device with the application open next to your pillow, in order to track your nightly sleep.

Pokemon Sleep Snorlax

The game contains features to record your snoring/sleep talking, as well as a smart alarm that will wake you at the perfect time to ensure you’re well-rested.

On top of allowing players to monitor their sleep trends, Pokemon Sleep will gather a variety of Pokemon while you slumber. It will even play relaxing music to help you drift off, or act as your alarm should you wish.

Once you wake up, the game will let you research these Pokemon’s unique sleep styles, and complete your Sleep Style Dex.

By getting a good night’s sleep each night (or taking a 90-minute power nap) players will have the chance to raise their own Snorlax, providing it with Berries received from befriended Pokemon to help it grow. The larger the Snorlax you raise, the more Pokemon you’ll encounter!

Is Pokemon Sleep Free to Play?

Yes, Pokemon Sleep is free to play, with no cost to download and play, however a number of optional in-game microtransactions are present in the experience.

While Pokemon Sleep is largely free, the app does allow players to use real-world currency to supplement their gameplay.

By purchasing in-game items, players can speed up the growth of their Snorlax, for example – allowing them to more easily attract a larger variety of Pokemon each night.

Pokemon Sleep has a premium currency, Diamonds, which can be used to purchase items in the in-game store. This currency can only be acquired with real money, although players can earn a second currency, Points, through standard gameplay.

In addition, Pokemon Sleep also offers a Premium Pass subscription service that unlocks additional features such as permanently saving your month’s sleep statistics and allowing players access to a journal feature.
