Nintendo has revealed a new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed Switch OLED console and it is set to release before the game itself!

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet look to be one of the most revolutionary games in the series for a long time. Fans can’t wait to see what Gen 9 has in store.

However, alongside the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Story Paths trailer, Nintendo has also revealed that a stunning new console inspired by the game is on the way.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Nintendo Switch OLED Release Date

The release date for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Nintendo Switch OLED is November 4, 2022. This is before the release date of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games.

Nintendo has not revealed pre-order details yet, but it has shared a good look at the console. It has also confirmed that it will not include a copy of Scarlet or Violet, so you will have to purchase the game separately.

The back of the console itself is black and is covered with illustrations, including images of the three new starter Pokemon, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito.

The Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Nintendo Switch also comes with limited Edition Joy-Con controllers. The left one is Scarlet and the right is Violet and each features the Logo of the in-game Naranja Academy and Uva Academy respectively.

Meanwhile, the dock is white and has the two new Legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon on the front. On the back, there is a quarter of a Poke Ball in the corner.
