Petilil has a new evolution in Pokemon Legends: Arceus – here’s how you can evolve it into Hisuian Lilligant!
Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place in the ancient Hisui region and has added plenty of regional variants and evolutions of familiar ‘Mon.
These new variants can be very powerful like new the new Fire/Rock type Hisuian Arcanine as well as the Hisuian Braviary which lets you fly across the map.
While the new Hisuian Lilligant isn’t necessarily a meta Pokemon, you’ll still want to evolve your Petilil. This is because you need to complete the entire Pokedex to catch Arceus!

You’ll need a Sun Stone to evolve Petilil into Lilligant’s new Hisuian regional variant in Pokemon Legends Arceus!
- First, you’ll need to catch a Petilil. The only 2 places you can find Petilil are in Crimson Mirelands – Cottonsedge Prairie and Holm of Trials.
- If you need a shiny version of Petilil or Lilligant, make sure you know how to increase shiny odds in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
- Next, you’ll need a Sun Stone to evolve Petilil into Hisuian Lilligant.
- You can get a Sun Stone for 1000 Merit Points at the Jubilife Village Trading Post or as one of Ginter’s Specials at the Gingko Guild.
- Finally, use the Sun Stone on your Petilil at any time to evolve it into Hisuian Lilligant.
