According to new leaks, Pokemon Legends Arceus is getting big upgrades on the Nintendo Switch Pro.
Right now, Nintendo fans everywhere have their eyes firmly planted on E3. In just a few days, we’ll be hearing more about the company’s plans for upcoming games like Splatoon 3, Breath of the Wild 2, and Smash Bros Ultimate.
But there’s one game that’s got Nintendo fans excited like none other. Ever since its announcement, Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been stealing the spotlight – and for good reason.
The Pokemon franchise is finally getting its Breath of the Wild moment, but our first impression of the game was a little shaky. While the trailer filled long-time fans with hype, there’s no denying that the footage could have used a few improvements.
Thankfully, it looks as though Pokemon Legends: Arceus is getting a big upgrade on the new Nintendo Switch Pro. In case this is the first time you’ve heard about it, new rumors indicate that the new 4K Nintendo Switch Pro reveal is coming before E3!
Pokemon Legends: Arceus Plays Best on New Nintendo Switch
According to early reports, Pokemon Legends Arceus will play best on the new Nintendo Switch ‘Pro’ model.
After fans were concerned about the game’s low frame rate and lackluster environments, some will be happy to learn the Pokemon Legends has a better-looking option.
CentroLeaks, a popular Pokemon leak page, claims that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is getting a major upgrade with the new Nintendo Switch.
“Prepare your wallet if you want to play the best version of Pokémon Legends,” Centro reports. “You will really want to play this in the new revision.”
The leaker goes on to report that the difference seen in Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon when using the New 3DS over the original model will be “insignificant” compared to Legends’ improvements. It seems that the upcoming Pokemon title will take full advantage of the new hardware when it launches next year.
In case you missed it, we just found out Pokemon Legends: Arceus’ release date, and fans won’t be waiting long. Perhaps the game is more ready than it first appeared back when the reveal trailer dropped.
However, trustworthy leaker Samus Hunter reveals that the game will run better than it did in the first Pokemon Legends trailer regardless. The Pro model will allow for better framerate and resolutions in “pretty much every game”, they confirm.
With the promise of new hardware around the corner, and a 4K Nintendo Switch Pro coming soon, we’re more excited than ever about the upcoming project. But CentroLeaks is quick to point out that scalpers will be an issue if a new Nintendo Switch is on the agenda.
Scalpers are still snatching thousands of PS5 and Xbox consoles per restock. And Nintendo is already hinting that a major Switch shortage is just around the corner.
We’ve got a new Pokemon Presents June event coming soon, if leaks are true. Hopefully, we’ll see more from Pokemon Legends: Arceus before long!
