Pokemon Horizons’ third episode has finally arrived! For those unaware, the new show has been on fans’ radars due to it being the first mainline Pokemon series not to feature the original protagonist, Ash Ketchum.

After 26 years of watching his adventures, we’ve finally bid farewell to the Pokemon Master in an emotional final episode.

Now, a new journey is just beginning, but we’re still initially heading back to the Kanto region for Pokemon Horizons!

Where to Watch Pokemon Horizons

Pokemon Horizons initially released on April 14 in Japan, where it began broadcasting weekly on TV Tokyo at 6:55 PM JST.

The anime’s release date in the West is yet to be announced. However, there are a few ways Pokemon fans can watch the episode as soon as it airs.

In the USA, the UK, and select other regions, Netflix is the best place to source new Pokemon episodes. However, they tend to drop in batches every few months.

Pokemon Horizons Episode 1

For the currently-airing Pokemon Ultimate Journeys English Dub episodes, Canada actually gets a new episode weekly, rather than having to wait for a certain number of episodes to be ready like the other English-speaking countries.

It’s possible that Pokemon Horizons will follow a similar pattern but we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, the Pokemon Horizons English Dub likely won’t surface until at least June 2023.

Watch Without the Wait

Despite there being no legitimate way to watch Pokemon Horizons outside of Japan, a number of anime piracy sites will no doubt host the new episodes with English subtitles shortly after each of them premieres.

Watching anime through most free streaming sites is not legal, but for many fans it will be the only way to watch new protagonists Liko and Roy’s debut before spoilers appear online.

What’s more, YouTube uploads of each episode will be available within minutes of the official broadcast. These will be taken down eventually but they usually stay up for a good few hours, with fans even attempting to subtitle the Japanese dialogue.
