Stufful Community Day: What’s Included?

Adjustments

In 2020 Niantic made the decision to increase the Community Day runtime from 3 hours to 6. This gave plenty of time to play through the Community Day.

However, it was found only 5% of players played for longer than 3 hours. Therefore, Niantic – after positive feedback from January’s 3 hour Community Day Classic – have decided to return to the 3 hour Community Day.

Players don’t need to worry about missing out on extra resources that were gained in the longer Community Days. Niantic has added some perks to make sure players can still collect them all!

Naturally the star of the show on the Stufful Community Day will be Stufful. Players can look forward to it appearing more frequently in the wild! (A perfect opportunity to get candy to evolve Stufful into Bewear!)

Speaking of Bewear, if players evolve a Stufful into Bewear during the event or up to 2 hours after the event ends, it will know a brand new move – Drain Punch.

Drain Punch is finally coming to Pokemon GO and promises to provide Bewear with a defensive edge in battles with the following stats:

  • Trainer Battles: 20 power and guaranteed to increase the user’s defense
  • Gyms and Raids: 50 power

Event Bonuses

There are quite a few Event Bonuses to look forward to this Stufful Community Day:

  • 3x Catch XP
  • 2x Catch Candy
  • 2X chance to receive Stufful XL Candy from catching Stufful
  • Incense activated during the event will last for 3 hours
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours
  • Trades made during the event & 2 hours after the event will cost 50% less stardust
  • 1 extra special trade can be made during the event and two hours after the event (max. 2 for the day)

Those aren’t the only bonuses for players to enjoy though! Working with other trainers will lead to some great bonuses:

If enough Pokemon are caught by trainers from a single Lure the XP bonus will increase. The 3x XP bonus from catching Pokemon near the Pokestop will be increased to 4 x XP for 30 minutes.

However, players should also take a few snapshots during the day for a surprise!

Event Bundles & Stickers

A one-time-purchase Community Day box will be available to purchase for 850 Pokecoins. The box contains 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Pinap Berries, 1 Elite Fast TM, and 1 Remote Raid Pass

The final content announced for the Stufful Community Day were stickers. Players will be able to get event-themed stickers featuring Stufful in a variety of ways:

Spinning Pokestops, opening Gifts and buying them from the in-game shop.

Hopefully this Community Day will live up to expectations, unlike the Mudkip Community Day earlier in the month which left fans disappointed.

And with the Community Day taking place in the middle of the Sustainability Week, why not check out what other bonuses you can gain?
