Yes, if you are very fortunate, you can catch the shiny version of Rufflet in Pokemon GO. However, the odds are very low.

Additionally, you can get shiny Braviary and shiny Hisuian Braviary too. However, these cannot be caught in the wild.

If you are after a shiny Rufflet, there’s no better time to catch one than the Pokemon GO Rufflet Spotlight Hour on July 4. This usually-rare Pokemon will be spawning extremely frequently in the wild during this event!

Shiny Rufflet

Any Rufflet you encounter in Pokemon GO has a low chance of being shiny, no matter how you encounter it. This could be a wild spawn, hatching from an Egg or from a Raid or Research reward.

The shiny odds for Rufflet in Pokemon GO is the standard 1 in 500. This is unfortunate, considering how much rarer it is than most other Pokemon.

Although, at least Rufflet has a great shiny variant! It has a light brown body and face, and its beak and feet are golden!

Shiny Braviary

To get a shiny Braviary in Pokemon GO, you must evolve a shiny Rufflet. This requires 50 Rufflet Candy.

Shiny Braviary is brown with blue wings, while the standard version of this Pokemon is purple with red wings.

Shiny Hisuian Braviary

The only way to get shiny Hisuian Braviary in Pokemon GO is by first defeating it in a 3-star Raid. Then, you’ll have to hope you get lucky and encounter the shiny version.

This is because the shiny rate or Hisuian Braviary in Pokemon GO is 1 in 62.5, or 1.6%.

You cannot evolve a standard Rufflet into Hisuian Braviary, so you’ll likely have to take part in plenty of Raids before you get one.

Shiny Hisuian Braviary is black with blue flames on its forehead, a stark contrast from the white standard version of this Pokemon.
