The Pokemon GO Rising Shadows event is taking place from 10 AM local time on May 22 to 8 PM local time on May 28, 2023.
This event is all about Shadow Pokemon and the introduction of Shadow Raids to Pokemon GO.
However, in addition to all of the Raids, there’s still an event bonus, wild Pokemon spawns, and some new Research to look forward to!
Rising Shadows Event Bonus
The only bonus in the Pokemon GO Rising Shadows event is that Team GO Rocket will appear more often at both PokeStops and in balloons.
However, this bonus is especially useful if you want to earn some Shadow Shards to make Purified Gems!
Team GO Rocket appearing more often also means you’ll have more chances to battle the leaders and bosses. Here’s how to defeat all of them:
