The Pokemon GO Primal Rumblings event is taking place from 10 AM local time on February 22 to 10 PM local time on February 24, 2023.
Primal Rumblings features the return of Rayquaza and a new featured attack for this Legendary Pokemon, in addition to everything you would usually expect from a Pokemon GO event!
Pokemon GO Primal Rumblings Event Bonus
The event bonus for the Pokemon GO Primal Rumblings event is 2x XP for evolving Pokemon.
Therefore, if you want to level up fast, we recommend saving your Pokemon evolutions until during the event. That way, you can get double the XP for every Pokemon that you evolve.

New Featured Rayquaza Attack – Breaking Swipe
Any Rayquaza caught during the Primal Rumblings event will know the brand -new featured attack Breaking Swipe.
This is a Dragon-type charged attack that has 50 power and decreases your opponent’s attack in battle against other trainers. Meanwhile, it has 35 power in Gym and Raid battles.
If you don’t catch a Rayquaza which knows Breaking Swipe, you’ll have to use an Elite Charged TM to teach it this exclusive attack at a later date.

In addition to the event bonus and the new featured Rayquaza attack, the following new content will be introduced during Primal Rumblings:
