The October 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day features the Fighting-type Pokemon Timburr!
The main attractions of the Timburr Community Day are that Timburr will be spawning much more frequently and that the shiny version of Timburr is available to catch. However, there’s plenty more to look forward to.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Community Day event, including the date and time, the event bonuses, and the 4-Star Raids!
October 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day: Timburr Date & Time
The Timburr Community Day event is taking place from 2 PM until 5 PM local time on October 15, 2023. This gives players just three hours to catch as many Timburr as possible!

Even if the event ends at 5 PM, there will be additional 4-Star Gurdurr Raids taking place in the hours after the Community Day.
Pokemon GO Timburr Community Day Bonuses
These are all of the in-game bonuses that will be active during the Timburr Community Day event:
- 3x Stardust for catching Pokemon
- 2x Candy for catching Pokemon
- 2x chance to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon (Trainers level 31 and up)
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last three hours
- Incense activated during the event will last three hours
- Surprise snapshot encounters
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day (until 10 PM)
- Trades require 50% less Stardust (until 10 PM)
Featured Conkeldurr Attack – Brutal Swing
Evolving Gurdurr into Conkeldurr from 3 PM until 10 PM local time on October 15 will give you a Conkeldurr that knows the featured attack, Brutal Swing.
Brutal Swing is an exclusive Dark-type charged attack that has 65 power in all battles.
Following the Timburr Community Day, you will need to use an Elite Fast TM to teach Brutal Swing to Conkeldurr.
Timburr Community Day Research
During the Timburr Community Day event, there will be exclusive Field Research Tasks to earn as well as ticketed Community Day Special Research to complete.
The rewards for the Field Research Tasks in Timburr Community Day include encounters with Timburr, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.
Meanwhile, the rewards for the Muscle Memories Special Research include Stardust, XP, and encounters with the Timburr family. However, this Research is exclusive to players who have bought the Muscle Memories Ticket for $1 (or local currency equivalent) from the in-game shop.
Timburr Community Day Raids
After the Pokemon GO Timburr Community Day ends, Timburr’s evolution, Gurdurr, will be a Raid boss. These 4-Star Raids will be taking place from from 5 PM to 10 PM local time on October 15.
As a Community Day Raid, you cannot use Remote Raid Passes to battle in these. Plus, winning a Raid against Gurdurr will cause Timburr to spawn around the Gym for 30 minutes afterward.
