Pokemon GO’s latest event, Noxious Swamp, is all about Poison and Dragon-type Pokemon – here’s everything you need to know about it!

The Noxious Swamp event will have Poison and Dragon-types spawning in the wild, available to battle in Raids, and as rewards from completing Research. Plus, there are some great event bonuses too!

The Pokemon GO Noxious Swamp event starts at 10 AM local time on Saturday, August 19, and ends at 8 PM local time on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

This gives players four days of Pokemon GO to experience everything the event has to offer.

The following Pokemon will be spawning in the wild during the Noxious Swamp event:

  • Skrelp
  • Skorupi
  • Surskit

  • Zubat

If you’re lucky, you may also catch the shiny version of each of these wild Pokemon. This even includes the brand-new shiny Skrelp!

Research

The Noxious Swamp event will have free Timed Research for all Pokemon GO players, with one of the rewards being an encounter with the rare Pokemon Jangmo-o.

Plus, there will be a new selection of Field Research Tasks for players to collect and complete. To go with the events theme, the rewards for these Field Research Tasks will be encounters with Dragon and Poison-type Pokemon such as Grimer, Skrelp, Noibat, and Mareanie.
