The Full Moon is an essential date for any Pokemon GO player who wants to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna, but they don’t come around very often!

As you can only evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna in Pokemon GO during a Full Moon, many players want to know when the next one will be. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t tell players when the next Full Moon is happening.

That’s why we’ve got all of the info on when the next Full Moon will be taking place, as well as all of the future Full Moon dates for 2023!

When is the Next Full Moon in Pokemon GO?

The next Full Moon in Pokemon GO is on September 29, 2023. This means that you will have to wait until then to evolve Ursaring in Ursaluna.

The exact time on September 29 that the Full Moon will begin depends on where you are in the world, as the sun sets at different times in different locations.

However, you can check if it is a Full Moon by looking up into the sky in-game. If it is, you’ll be able to see the Full Moon clearly above you!

How Often Are Full Moons?

Full Moons in Pokemon GO usually happen every 29 or 30 days. This is because whenever it is a full moon in real life, it is also a full moon in the game.

Developer Niantic may add an additional Full Moon in-game for a specific event, such as Teddiursa Community Day, to give players more chances to evolve Ursaring. However, this is very rare.
