Pokemon GO Mega Rayquaza Release Date

You can only Mega Evolve a Rayquaza that knows the charged attack Dragon Ascent, and the only way to teach it this move is with a Meteorite.

Luckily, you will be able to earn Meteorites during this year’s GO Fest. They will be rewards for completing a Special Research Story during the 2023 GO Fest events – both local and global.

Every player will be able to earn one Meteorite for completely free. Also, paying players can earn one additional Meteorite by purchasing a 2023 GO Fest Ticket.

Following Pokemon GO Fest 2023, it is not known when Mega Rayquaza or Meteorites will be available again. Therefore, make sure to get all of the resources you need to Mega Evolve Rayquaza before the event ends on August 27, 2023.
