Pokemon GO: Mega Altaria Raid Guide – Best Counters, Weaknesses

Find out how to defeat and catch Mega Altaria in raids! The best counters, weaknesses, and everything else you need to know!

Ever since the Mega Moment event dropped, Mega Pokemon have been more popular than ever. The most recent ‘Mon being added to Mega Raids is Mega Altaria!

In its base form, Altaria is a defensive Dragon/Flying ‘Mon. When it mega evolves, it becomes the only Pokemon in the game to become a Dragon/Fairy-type!

To catch Mega Altaria, trainers will need to first defeat it in a raid battle. This means you have to battle an incredibly strong Pokemon with other trainers.

Once the Pokemon is defeated, its CP will drop to a lower level, and trainers will have the opportunity to catch it. We recommend stocking up on Razz Berries and Golden Razz Berries, as Mega Altaria is a difficult Pokemon to catch!

Also, fans are considering a boycott of Pokemon GO Fest! Hopefully this will ensure Niantic listens to the playerbase’s concerns.

Hopefully the Alola To Alola event will satisfy fans and see the Season of Alola off on a positive note! Check out our event coverage.
