Best Counters To Mega Abomasnow

Mega Abomasnow Type Weaknesses

  • Fire
  • Fighting
  • Flying
  • Poison
  • Rock
  • Bug
  • Steel

As a Grass/Ice type Pokemon, there are plenty of types this Raid boss is weak to. Be sure to use the above types as much as possible.

Whilst most of these types will deal 160% damage, Fire type moves will deal a whopping 256% thanks to Mega Abomasnow’s double weakness against it!

However, there are a few move types to avoid due to the raid boss’ resistance against them:

  • Ground
  • Water
  • Grass
  • Electric

Moves of these types will only deal 63% damage – not something you want in order to take the boss down quickly.

In the meantime, Pokemon GO players can catch the Galarian forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, so long as they know how it’s done!

But thanks to the Adventure incense glitch giving players no spawns, players might want to hold off on using it until it’s fixed!
