The Pokemon GO Let’s GO event is all about Ditto and Meltan and there is even a new Field Research Task that is all to do with catching the Transform Pokemon.
Spinning a PokeStop during the Pokemon GO Let’s GO event, from March 21 to 29, could give you a limited-time event Field Research Task.
These are the four new Field Research Tasks in the Pokemon GO Let’s GO event, as well as what reward you get for completing them:
Field Research Task | Reward |
Catch 3 Ditto | Pansage, Pansear, or Panpour encounter |
Catch 10 Pokemon | 10 Poke Balls |
Transfer 15 Pokemon | 10 Poke Balls |
Catch 20 Pokemon | 20 Great Balls |
Catching 3 Ditto sounds difficult, but one of the Let’s GO event bonuses boosts how often you’ll find Ditto. This makes it a much more frequent occurrence!
Just make sure you know all of the current Ditto Disguises in Pokemon GO so you know which Pokemon Ditto could be appearing as in the wild right now. After all, this transforming Pokemon always appears as another Pokemon!
Also, as you can find more Ditto at the moment, there’s never been a better time to catch a shiny Ditto in Pokemon GO! Any Ditto you encounter has a low chance of being shiny, so you’ll want to encounter as many as possible.

Now that you know the new limited-time Field Research Tasks, make sure you also find out how to complete the Let’s GO Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO. Finishing this Collection Challenge rewards you with a Meltan encounter!
What’s more, you’ll want to catch as many Meltan as you can during the Let’s GO event. This is because the shiny version of Meltan is currently available in Pokemon GO!
