To celebrate Lechonk’s debut in the game, Pokemon GO players can complete the Lechonk’s Adventure Research to earn plenty of encounters with the pig-like Pokemon!
The Lechonk’s Adventure Timed Research will be available to any Pokemon GO player who logs into the game during the A Paldean Adventure event. This is running from 10 AM local time on September 5 until 10 AM local time on September 10, 2023.
It is a very simple Timed Research with just five straightforward tasks, but it is definitely worth completing if you want plenty of encounters with Lechonk!

Lechonk’s Adventure Completion Rewards
For completing all five tasks in the Pokemon GO Lechonk’s Adventure Timed Research, you will get the following rewards:
- Lechonk
- 900 Stardust
- 900 XP
This means that you’ll be able to earn a grand total of six encounters with Lechonk from this Timed Research. While this may seem like overkill, it is actually very handy for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the shiny version of Lechonk is available to catch. This means that each Lechonk encounter is another opportunity to watch the shiny version.
Additionally, the male and female versions of Lechonk evolve into a different version of Oinkologne. Therefore, you’ll need 100 Lechonk Candy to evolve a male and a female Lechonk to get both versions of Oinkologne.
