The 5-star raids in Pokemon GO are changing once again, and this time, Landorus Therian Forme is being added! This mighty legendary Pokemon is available from 26 April through to 3 May.

To catch Landorus, trainers will need to first defeat it in a raid battle. This means you have to battle an incredibly strong Pokemon with other trainers.

Landorus Therian Forme Stats and Type

Landorus is a powerful legendary Pokemon with high stats. It has the following stats in Pokemon GO:

  • Max CP: 4434
  • Attack: 289
  • Defense: 179
  • Stamina: 205

Additionally, it is a Ground/Flying type. This means it has the following resistances in battle:

  • Bug
  • Electric
  • Fighting
  • Ground
  • Poison

Therefore, you should not attempt to take on a Landorus Raid using any of the above types. Landorus has double resistances to both Electric and Ground, meaning attacks of these types deal very little damage.

Luckily, Landorus has weaknesses, too. Here is a list of all of Landorus’ weaknesses:

  • Ice
  • Water

Furthermore, Landorus has a double weakness to Ice. That means it’s a great idea to take it on with powerful Ice-type moves!

Best Pokemon To Defeat Landorus Therian Forme Raid

Landorus is a difficult Pokemon to face because of its powerful attacks. Because of this, the best Pokemon to bring to a Landorus Raid are strong Ice Pokemon.

While Landorus can hit Ice-type Pokemon for super effective damage, it also has a double weakness to Ice. This means that Ice-type Pokemon are by far the best options to take down Landorus efficiently.

Landorus also has a weakness to Water. If you don’t have enough strong Ice-type Pokemon to use, then strong Water-type Pokemon are also effective options.
