Kleavor is finally making its Pokemon GO debut in the May 2023 Raid Day event, but you’ll have to defeat it in a Raid for the opportunity to catch one!
Similar to the Hisuian Braviary and Hiusian Avalugg Raid Days that took place in 2022, Niantic has decided to hold a Raid Day to celebrate Kleavor coming to the game.
Here’s everything you need to know about the event so you can add Kleavor and, if you’re lucky, the shiny version of Kleavor, to your Pokedex!

Pokemon GO Kleavor Raid Day: Date & Time
The Pokemon GO Kleavor Raid Day is taking place on May 6, 2023, from 11 AM to 2 PM local time.
This will give players three hours to battle and defeat Kleavor, and earn the opportunity to catch this new Pokemon.
To ensure you defeat this Raid boss, make sure you find out the best Kleavor counters in Pokemon GO!
Following the Raid Day, it is not known when will be the next opportunity to catch Kleavor will be. Hisuian Braviary made its debut in a similar Raid Day back in July 2022, but hasn’t been available since, so don’t expect to see a wild Kleavor any time soon.
Kleavor Raid Day is also happening during the Pokemon GO An Instinctive Hero event which has added another new Pokemon, Larvesta!

Pokemon GO Kleavor Raid Day Bonuses
The following in-game Pokemon GO bonuses will be active during the Kleavor Raid Day event:
- Kleavor will appear more frequently in Raids
- Increased chance of encountering shiny Kleavor
- Earn up to 5 additional Raid Passes by spinning Gyms (available until 4 PM)
- Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 10 (from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM local time on May 6)
If you plan on catching Kleavor on the Raid Day, make sure to save up your PokeCoins beforehand. This is because a recent Pokemon GO update increased the cost of Remote Raid Passes.
Also, there’s plenty more in store for Pokemon trainers following the Raid Day. Check out the May 2023 Pokemon GO event schedule for more details!
