Pokemon GO is celebrating the Water Festival: Beach Week event with a very special Spotlight Hour on June 6, 2023. It features not one, but five Pokemon!

Usually, Spotlight Hours only have one featured Pokemon, but the one from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on June 6, 2023, will feature a quintet of Pokemon that live on the beach. This is in addition to the great bonus of 3x XP for catching Pokemon!

The five featured Pokemon in the Water Festival: Beach Week Spotlight Hour on June 6, 2023, are:

  • Clauncher
  • Corphish
  • Crabrawler
  • Kabuto
  • Krabby

All five of these Pokemon will be spawning in the wild much more frequently during the Spotlight Hour. This is excellent news for players who want to farm Candy or evolve any of these Pokemon.

Additionally, it is great news for shiny hunters as four of the five featured Pokemon also have shiny versions available to catch in Pokemon GO.

Can You Catch Shiny Pokemon in the June 6 Spotlight Hour?

You can catch the shiny versions of all of the featured Pokemon apart from Crabrawler in the Beach Week Spotlight Hour. This means that you will have plenty of opportunities to catch:

  • Shiny Clauncher
  • Shiny Corphish
  • Shiny Kabuto
  • Shiny Krabby
