Every month, Pokemon GO holds a Community Day event, which is all about one particular Pokemon, and June 2023’s featured Pokemon is Axew!
This means that throughout the event, Axew will be spawning much more often. Plus, the shiny version of Axew will be available to catch!
In addition to the Axew spawns, there will be some great in-game bonuses, Raids, and more.
Pokemon GO June 2023 Community Day: Axew Date & Time
The June 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day featuring Axew is taking place on Saturday, June 10, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.
However, some of the event bonuses, as well as the 4-Star Fraxure Raids will be running until 10 PM in the evening.
Axew Community Day Bonuses
The following bonues will be active from 2 PM to 5 PM local time during the Axew Community Day, unless specified:
- 3x XP for catching Pokemon
- 2x Candy for catching Pokemon
- 2x Chance to receive Candy XL when catching Pokemon (level 31 trainers and above)
- Incense activated during the Community Day will last 3 hours
- Lure Modules activated during the Community Day will last 3 hours
- Community Day surprise snapshot encounters
- One additional Special Trade until 10 PM on the Community Day
- Trades will cost 50% less Stardust until 10 PM on the Community Day
Featured Haxorus Attack – Breaking Swipe
Evolving Fraxure into Haxorus from 2 PM until 10 PM local time on the Axew Community Day will give you a Haxorus that knows the exclusive attack Breaking Swipe.
This is a charged attack that has 35 power in Gyms and Raids. Meanwhile, it has 50 power in trainer battles, with the caveat it powers up your opponent’s attack.
4-Star Raids on Axew Community Day
From 5 PM to 10 PM local time on June 10, following the Axew Community Day, players will be able to battle Fraxure in Tier 4 Raids.
Like all Community Day Raids, players must take part in them in person. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.
Additionally, winning a Fraxure Raid will cause Axew to spawn around the Gym for 30 minutes. This is perfect to farm some more Axew Candy before the day is over!
Keeping Sharp Special Research Ticket
Pokemon GO players can purchase the Keeping Sharp Special Research Ticket for $1 to get access to a Special Research Story on the Community Day.
This Special Research Story must be completed by 5 PM local time on June 10. Judging by previous Cumminty Days, it will reward players with Axew Candy and encounters.
