The Pokemon GO Let’s GO event has added plenty of new exciting content to the game, especially for Ditto and Meltan fans. This includes a brand-new Collection Challenge that involves catching Ditto and a trio of region-exclusive Pokemon.

To complete the Pokemon GO Let’s GO Collection Challenge, you must catch the following Pokemon before the Let’s GO event ends at 8 PM local time on March 29, 2023:

DittoDitto Pokemon GO
PansagePansage Pokemon GO
PansearPansear Pokemon GO
PanpourPanpour Pokemon GO

Judging by the four Pokemon you must catch to complete this Collection Challenge, it looks tough. Luckily, the new Let’s GO event bonuses make it pretty straightforward.

Firstly, there are loads of new Ditto disguises you must get familiar with before you can catch one. Luckily, the odds of finding Ditto are also boosted during this event, making it a pretty frequent occurrence.

Additionally, Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour are usually region-exclusive Pokemon. However, during the Let’s GO event, they will be spawning worldwide! This means that they are pretty common to find in the wild.

Pokemon GO Let’s GO Collection Challenge Rewards

For completing the Let’s GO Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO, you will get the following two rewards:

  • Meltan Encounter
  • 5000 XP

This Collection Challenge is currently the only way to get Meltan without using the Mystery Box special item. Make sure you know how to use the Mystery Box to catch Meltan in Pokemon GO so you can earn more Meltan Candy and evolve it into Melmetal!

Also, as you can currently catch shiny Meltan in Pokemon GO, this reward encounter could be a shiny version of Meltan if you are very lucky!

Alternatively, if you don’t want to save up 400 Meltan Candy to evolve Meltan into Melmetal, there is another way to get one. Completing the Willow’s Wardrobe Timed Research gives you a guaranteed encounter with Melmetal!
