Avalugg has been in Pokemon GO for a while, but its regional variant, first introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, has not been available to catch. That is, until now!

Hisuian Avalaugg will be taking place in Pokemon GO from 2 PM to 5 PM local time on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
During this time, Pokemon trainers will be able to battle Hisuian Avalugg in Raids to have the chance to catch it!

Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day Bonuses
In addition to Hisuian Avalugg appearing very frequently in Raids, there are two more bonuses that will be active for the duration of the Raid day. They are:
- Earn up to 5 additional Raid Passes from spinning Gyms
- Increased chance of encountering shiny Hisuian Avalugg
Is There Shiny Hisuian Avalugg in Pokemon GO?
Yes, the shiny version of Hisuian Avalugg is available to catch in Pokemon GO. If you are very lucky, the Hisuian Avalugg you encounter after defeating it in a Raid battle could be shiny!
Shiny Hisuian Avalugg has orange ice plates around its jaws and a lighter orange accent on its legs and feet.
Luckily, Pokemon GO Raid Days have boosted shiny odds, so there’s a better chance of you catching shiny Hisuian Avalugg.
