Pokemon GO has plenty of new things to do every month but December is always special thanks to the Christmas-themed events.
However, Pokemon GO in December 2022 has much more than just Christmas. There are plenty of Pokemon debuts as well as Raid Days for trainers to take part in!

Every Pokemon GO Event in December 2022 – Dates & Schedule
There are loads of events scheduled to take place in Pokemon GO during December 2022.
In addition to the festive Winter Holiday and Winter Wonderland events, there are also two different Raid Days featuring new Pokemon, the Mythic Blade event, and more.

Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day (December 3)
The first Pokemon GO event of December 2022 is the Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day.
This kicks off the month’s event schedule in style as it will be the first opportunity that Pokemon trainers have to battle Mega Blaziken, Mega Sceptile and Mega Swampert in Pokemon GO!
Mythic Blade (December 6 – 10)
The Pokemon GO Mythic Blade event features the debut of Keldeo as well as Crabrawler and Crabominable.
Additionally, it has a limited-time Collection Challenge to complete as well as new Raid bosses, wild Pokemon spawns and Field Research Tasks.

Elite Raids (December 10)
The next Elite Raids in Pokemon GO will be taking place on Saturday, December 10.
At the moment, we don’t know which Pokemon will be the Raid boss but we hope it is another super-rare mythical Pokemon like Hoopa Unbound, which appeared in Elite Raids over the last two months.

Something Extraordinary: Keldeo Special Research (December 10 – 11)
Keldeo is finally making its Pokemon GO debut on December 10 as part of the ticketed Something Extraordinary Special Research Story.
Players will have from 10 AM local time on December 10 to 8 PM local time on December 11 to complete this research and catch Keldeo!
December Community Day (December 17 – 18)
The final Community Day of 2022 in Pokemon GO will be taking place on both December 17th and 18th.
Like previous December Community Days, it will feature all of the Pokemon that appeared in Community Days earlier in the year.

Winter Holiday Part 1 (December 15 – 23)
Expect to encounter plenty of Ice-type Pokemon during the Winter Holiday event.
Part 1 of the Winter Holiday begins on December 15 and will feature lots of festive research and challenges for players to complete, if previous years are anything to go by!
Winter Holiday Part 2 (December 23 – 31)
If one week of Pokemon GO Winter festivities wasn’t enough for you, then you are in luck.
The 2022 Pokemon GO Winter Holiday event is also getting a second part that will last from December 23 until the end of December!
Winter Wonderland (December 24 – 25)
The Pokemon GO Winter Wonderland event is happening over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so expect Delibird to be involved somehow!
Last year there was a Collection Challenge for players to finish as well, so there will probably be another one to do in 2022!
Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day (December 24)
Hiusian Avalugg is another Pokemon making its Pokemon GO debut in December 2022 but you’ll need to battle before you can catch it!
Christmas Eve will be Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day, giving players plenty of chances to catch this brand-new Pokemon.
