Every week, Pokemon GO holds a 1-hour event to celebrate one of the many Pokemon in the game.
And developer Niantic has announced all of the different Pokemon that will be featured in the Spotlight Hours for December 2022.
As it is now Winter, a number of Ice-types will be in the spotlight in December 2022!

What Pokemon Are in the December 2022 Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours?
The featured Pokemon in the December 2022 Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours are:
- Wooper
- Spheal
- Bergmite
- Cubchoo
Each of these Pokemon will have a Spotlight Hour event where they are the featured Pokemon, giving players a great opportunity to catch them, earn Candy and evolve them!
December 2022 Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour Dates & Bonuses
EveryPokemon GO Spotlight Hour in December 2022 takes place on a Tuesday from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
These are all of the dates of the upcoming Spotlight Hours for December 2022 as well as the bonus and featured Pokemon:
- December 6 – Wooper
- Bonus: 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon
- December 13 – Spheal
- Bonus: 2x XP for catching Pokemon
- December 20 – Bergmite
- Bonus: 2x Catch Candy
- December 27 – Cubchoo
- Bonus: 2x Candy for transferring Pokemon
