There are hundreds of different Pokemon in Pokemon GO but, sometimes, the game likes to put focus on one Pokemon in particular.
In addition to all of the Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours in September 2022, there is an extra event focusing on the Fairy-type Pokemon Clefairy. While similar to a Spotlight Hour, Clefairy Commotion puts the featured Pokemon at the forefront for more than 60 minutes.

What is the Clefairy Commotion Event in Pokemon GO?
Clefairy Commotion is a unique Pokemon GO event that features Clefairy spawning way more often in the wild.
For the duration of the event, Clefairy will be appearing much more frequently. This makes it the perfect opportunity to farm Clefairy Candy or find a shiny version of the Pokemon.
Think of it like an extended Spotlight Hour that lasts 3 hours instead of just 1! Although, there is no event bonus for Clefairy Commotion.

Clefairy Commotion Date & Time
The Pokemon GO Clefairy Commotion event is on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 6 PM – 9 PM local time.
This means that unlike the Spotlight Hours it is so similar to, players will have 3 whole hours to catch as many Clefairy as they can.

Is There Shiny Clefairy in Pokemon GO?
There is a shiny version of Clefairy in Pokemon GO and you’ll be able to catch it during the Clefairy Commotion event.
Instead of the standard pink, shiny Clefairy is slightly paler pink and it has green ears instead of brown.
Unfortunately, there is no boosted shiny rate during the Clefairy Commotion event so catching a shiny version will still be rare.
