No, you cannot get the shiny version of Zygarde in Pokemon GO yet.

As Zygarde has only just come to Pokemon GO on July 21, 2023, it will be a while before the shiny version of this Legendary arrives. Developer Niantic usually waits at least a year before adding the shiny versions of new Legendary Pokemon.

Even if you can’t get the shiny version of it yet, you’ll still want to know how to get Zygarde and change its form. After all, who doesn’t want to add more Legendaries to their Pokedex?

Is There a Shiny Zygarde Release Date in Pokemon GO?

Niantic has not yet announced when the shiny version of Zygarde will come to Pokemon GO. However, this doesn’t mean it will never arrive in the game.

Although if Zygarde’s shiny version does arrive in the game, don’t expect to see it for a couple of years.

Even if Zygarde is a Legendary Pokemon, it can only be obtained through a Special Research Story. This is more similar to some of the Mythical Pokemon in the game.
