Zorua has one of the coolest shiny versions in the Pokemon series, but can it be shiny in Pokemon GO?

Yes, you can catch the shiny version of Zorua in Pokemon GO, after it was added to the game on October 26, 2023.

Any Zorua you encounter in Pokemon GO has a very low chance of being shiny, no matter how you encounter it.

Zorua Shiny Odds in Pokemon GO

As shiny Zorua has only just arrived in the game, there has not been enough time to work out the exact shiny odds.

Despite this, we expect the odds of Zorua being shiny in Pokemon GO are 0.2%, or 1 in 500. This is because this is the base shiny odds, which most Pokemon have in Pokemon GO.

Fortunately, Zorua is now easier to catch than ever. Not only can you find a wild Zorua during the 2023 Pokemon GO Halloween event, but you can also get a guaranteed Zorua encounter through the Halloween Part 2 Timed Research.

We will update this article once the shiny odds for Zorua have been confirmed.

What Color is Shiny Zorua?

The shiny version of Zorua has a dark brown body with light blue feet, eyelids and a light blue tuft of hair on top of its head.

Additionally, shiny Zorua has reddish-pink eyes instead of the green-blue eyes of the standard version.

Keep an eye out for a blue tuft of hair on Zorua’s head – that is the easiest way to tell the shiny version apart from the standard Zorua.

How to Get Shiny Zoroark in Pokemon GO

The only way to get shiny Zoroark in Pokemon GO is by evolving a shiny Zorua. This evolution requires 50 Zorua Candy.
