The Blaze New Trails event is coming to Pokemon GO – here’s everything you need to know about it!

To celebrate the addition of Routes to Pokemon GO, the game is holding the Blaze New Trails event. This will include some great bonuses, new wild spawns, an updated 7km Egg, new Field Research Tasks, and more!

Pokemon GO Blaze New Trails Event Date & Time

The Blaze New Trails event begins at 10 AM local time on July 21 and will end at 8 PM local time on July 24, 2023.

This gives players four whole days of adventuring to experience everything this new in-game event has to offer.

Blaze New Trails Event Bonuses

The following two in-game bonuses will be active for the duration of the Blaze New Trails event:

• 2/3 distance to earn Buddy Candy while exploring Routes with your buddy
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Yungoos

New 7km Event Egg Hatches in Blaze New Trails

Any 7km Egg obtained from 10 AM local time on July 21 to 8 PM local time on July 24, 2023, during the Blaze New Trails event, will contain either Rockruff, Skwovet, or Falinks.

Finally, Pokemon GO has added the From A to Zygarde Special Research as part of the Blaze New Trails event.

Not only does this Research give players an encounter with Zygarde, but it is also a great way to learn about the new Routes feature!
