The July 2022 Pokemon GO Battle Weekend is finally here and there’s more to do than just competing in the GO Battle League.
In addition to the extra battles you’ll be able to take part in and the great evolution bonus for many Pokemon over the weekend, there is also a Timed Research Challenge for players to complete with two different paths.
Here are all of the rewards for the Pokemon GO Battle Weekend Challenge as well as all of the rewards you’ll get for completing it.

Pokemon GO Battle Weekend Challenge – How to Complete & All Rewards
The Pokemon GO Battle Weekend Challenge begins with a first step that everyone can complete. Once you complete the step below, you will have to pick a path to continue the Timed Research on.
Step 1: Battle Weekend Challenge (1/3)

Step 1 Rewards: 1000 Stardust, 2500 Stardust, 1 Premium Battle Pass
After completing Step 1, you will be able to choose two different paths to take the Timed Research in. One revolves around the GO Battle League and the other focuses on defeating GO Team Rocket and battling in Gyms and Raids.

Best Path to Choose in the Pokemon GO Battle Weekend Challenge
Both paths have the same rewards so you’ll want to pick your path depending on what you prefer to do in the game as well as what other Research you’re currently completing
If you want to catch Rotom by completing the Anniversary Event Timed Research we recommend going for the Raids, Grunts, and Gyms! path.
This is because that Research also involves Raiding and Gym Battles so you’ll be able to progress both at once.
However, it’s worth choosing the GO Battle League! path if you prefer battling. These goals should also be easier to complete thanks to the Pokemon GO July Battle Weekend bonuses!
