Here’s a rundown on everything to expect from the Pokemon GO Astral Eclipse event including the dates, wild Pokemon, and Raids!
Pokemon GO events always bring plenty of new content to the game and Astral Eclipse seems to be one of the most exciting in a while.
Not only are two new Legendary Pokemon coming to the game, but there is much more for fans to get stuck into as well!
Pokemon GO Astral Eclipse Start & End Date
The Pokemon GO Astral Eclipse event will start on November 23, 2022, at 10 AM local time.
It will be active in-game until 8 PM local time on November 28, 2023. This gives players just under a week to experience everything the event has to offer.

New Pokemon in the Pokemon GO Astral Eclipse Event
There are two brand-new Legendary Pokemon coming to Pokemon GO as part of the Astral Eclipse event. Finally, Lunala and Solgaleo are arriving in the game, a few months after Cosmog initially made its Pokemon GO debut at the start of the Season of Light.

All Wild Pokemon Spawns in the Astral Eclipse Event
Players will be able to encounter all of the following Pokemon in the wild during the Astral Eclipse event as they will all be spawning more frequently:
- Alolan Rattata
- Alolan Sandshrew
- Clefairy
- Alolan Vulpix
- Staryu
- Hoothoot
- Sunkern
- Lunatone
- Solrock
- Munna
- Cottonee
- Petilil
- Yungoos

Every Pokemon in Raids During the Astral Eclipse Event
All of the following Pokemon will be appearing as Raid bosses for the duration of the event:
- Tier 1 Raids
- Drifloon*
- Frillish (Female)
- Frillish (Male)
- Inkay*
- Rockruff*
- Tier 3 Raids
- Tentacruel
- Druddigon*
- Hisuian Braviary*
- Tier 4 Mega Raids
- Mega Houndoom*
- Tier 5 Ultra Beast Raids
Every Raid Boss with a star next to its name has a shiny form that lucky players will be able to catch too!

Solgaleo and Lunala Avatar Items
Finally, the Astral Eclipse event is adding some Solgaleo and Lunala-themed Avatar Items for players to buy from the in-game Shop.
They will be available to purchase from the start of the event and will stay in the shop even after it ends.
