The Pokemon GO A Valorous Hero event is all about Raiding, but it has also introduced two new Research Stories for players to complete.
First, there is a Timed Research that must be finished before the event ends, which rewards players with plenty of items, such as Poke Balls, Potions, and Berries.
Then, there is a large Special Research Story that includes an exclusive encounter with a Ponyta, which is wearing a Candela costume!

A Valorous Hero Timed Research: All Tasks & Rewards
The Timed Research for the A Valorous Hero event has two steps to complete and four tasks within both of these steps.
This Timed Research must be finished by 8 PM local time on May 17, 2023.

A Valorous Hero Special Research: All Tasks & Rewards
Pokemon GO players can claim the A Valorous Hero Special Research at any time during the A Valorous Hero event, which is active from 10 AM local time on May 11 to 8 PM local time on May 17, 2023.
Then, it can be completed at any time, and finishing it will reward players with an encounter with an exclusive Candela-costumed Ponyta!
