Pokemon GO has gotten a new event to celebrate Mega Evolutions – here’s how you can complete ‘A Mega Moment’ as well as all of the rewards!
Fans of Pokemon GO are always on the lookout for new Special Research Tasks they can complete. Luckily, a new one to do with Mega Evolutions has just arrived!
‘A Mega Moment’ will give players a great introduction to the huge Mega Evolution changes in Pokemon GO and the chance to earn a load of Mega Energy!
Here’s how you can complete every step of the ‘A Mega Moment’ Special Research as well as all of the rewards it’ll give you!
Step 1: A Mega Moment (1/4) & Who to Choose – Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle?

Step 1 Rewards: 500XP, 200 Stardust, 10 Pokeballs
Before completing step 2, you will then have to pick a Pokemon out of Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. We recommend picking your favorite but if you can’t decide then Charmander is your best option. This is because Mega Charizard is the most powerful of the three for battling and raids.
The rest of the ‘A Mega Moment’ Special Research then gives you rewards based on which Pokemon you chose.

Step 2: A Mega Moment (2/4)

Step 3: A Mega Moment (3/4)

Step 3 Rewards: 1000 XP, 600 Stardust, 100 Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise Mega Energy.
