Every year, Pokemon GO celebrates its birthday with a party, and 2023 marks the 7th anniversary of the game!
The Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary Party features plenty of classic Pokemon wearing party hats, a new in-game bonus every day, and the return of some classic Legendaries to Raids.
Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary Party Event Date & Time
The Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary Party event is taking place from 10 AM local time on July 6 to 8 PM local time on July 12, 2023.
This means that there is a whole week for Pokemon trainers to experience everything the event has to offer, including the new bonuses and wild spawns on each day!
7th Anniversary Party Event Bonuses
The 7th Anniversary Party event will have three bonuses that are active for the whole event, and an exclusive bonus for each day of the celebration:
- July 6 – 12:
- Increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends
- Increased chance of Pokemon becoming Lucky through trades
- Chance of finding 7, 77, or more Gimmighoul Coins when spinning a PokeStop with a Golden Lure Module
- July 6:
- 2× XP for catching Pokemon
- July 7:
- 2× Stardust for catching Pokemon
- July 8:
- 2× Candy for catching Pokemon
- July 9:
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator
- July 10:
- Friendship levels will increase twice as fast
- July 11:
- 2× Candy for transferring Pokemon
- July 12:
- 2× XP for evolving Pokemon
Wild Pokemon Spawns in 7th Anniversary Event
The 7th Anniversary Party has a number of Pokemon that will be spawning more often for the whole duration of the event, in addition to three Pokemon that will spawn more frequently on each day.
