Adventure Week is an exciting yearly event that encourages Pokemon GO players to get outside and explore – and what better way to do that than with a new Collection Challenge?
Starting at 10 AM local time on July 27 and ending at 8 PM local time on August 2, 2023, players are tasked with catching a number of specific Fossil Pokemon in the Adventure Week Collection Challenge.
While some are pretty easy to find, others may take you a little longer to check off the list. It’s certainly worth completing though, if you want to earn encounters with Tyrunt and Amaura!
Every Pokemon You Need to Catch in Pokemon GO Adventure Week 2023 Collection Challenge
To complete the Adventure Week 2023 Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO, you must obtain all of the following 16 Pokemon before the challenge expires at 8 PM local time on August 2:
- Kabuto
- Kabutops
- Omanyte
- Omastar
- Anorith
- Armaldo
- Lileep
- Cradily
- Shieldon
- Bastiodon
- Cranidos
- Rampardos
- Archen
- Archeops
- Tirtouga
- Carracosta
Some of these Pokemon spawn in the wild, while others can only be obtained through evolution or Field Research Tasks.
The collection challenge is broken up into four groups of four Pokemon and you will get rewards for completing each group. The four groups are:

Remember, to get all of the Tyrunt and Amaura reward encounters you must catch all of the Pokemon in each of the four Collection Challenge groups before the Adventure Week event ends at 8 PM local time on August 2, 2023.
