Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Will Have Upgraded Graphics, Leaker Reveals

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl disappointed fans with its graphics during the games’ reveal, but it looks like an upgrade could be incoming.

Fans have been calling for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes for years now. The 4th generation of Pokemon titles have been beloved entries in the franchise since their release in 2006.

But despite the hype, it’s fair to say that Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s reveals were underwhelming. After all, the art style came as a disappointment to many who were hoping for the remakes to be upgrades from the original titles.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Graphical Upgrades?

A brand-new leak is revealing news about Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl’s graphical upgrades.

If this leak is accurate, the Diamond and Pearl remakes are about to get a new trailer. And we’ll be seeing a big graphical upgrade over how the game looked the last time we laid eyes on it.

This news comes from trusted leaker CentroLeaks on Twitter, who recently informed us that the Nintendo Switch Pro is releasing THIS WEEK!

“A new Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl trailer will be released soon (don’t know how soon, could be E3),” the leaker reveals. “While that’s not surprising, the interesting part is that we’ve been told that the graphics have improved “a lot”.”

A major upgrade to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s graphics is just what the game needs. However, it’s important to understand what this new rumor means.

CentroLeaks confirms that the game’s overall art style will not be changing. Those who aren’t a fan of the chibi style of the game may still be left disappointed.

But with a few shading and lighting tweaks, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl could look a lot better already. We’ll have to wait until this month’s leaked Pokemon Presents releases to see more!

And after that, it’s not long until the actual Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl release date!

But all eyes are currently on Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which will apparently play better than expected on the Switch Pro! We recently got a major Nintendo Switch Pro leak from Amazon itself, so the console upgrade is all-but-guaranteed.

And could we be seeing a new Pokemon as one of our final 2 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC characters? A new leak is giving us quite the insight into Smash Bros. Ultimate’s plans at E3 2021!

In fact, all of Nintendo’s E3 plans are leaking early, including games and more!
