The release dates for three upcoming Pokemon games have finally been announced!
Pokemon fans around the world have been patiently waiting for more information about the upcoming games in the franchise for a while now.
Luckily, two huge release date announcements have come out of nowhere. The Pokemon Company has revealed when everyone can get their hands on Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl as well as the highly anticipated Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Release Dates
Firstly, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl will be released before Christmas. Fans of the series can’t wait to see the familiar Sinnoh region again in more detail than ever before.
The release date for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is November 19 2021.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus Launch Date
Meanwhile, Pokemon fans will have to wait until next year to get their hands on Legends Arceus. But at least it will arrive right at the beginning of 2022.
The first Pokemon Legends game, named after the legendary Pokemon Arceus, will also take players to the Sinnoh region, but in the past. It will also feature new action and RPG elements for the series.
There has already been a huge leak about Pokemon Legends: Arceus and it sounds amazing!
The release date for Pokemon Legends: Arceus is January 28 2022.
Pokemon Nintendo Switch Pre-Orders
Despite the far-off release dates, all three of these Pokemon Switch games are available to pre-order now! Also, if you can’t make the tough choice between Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, there is a double pack including both games available to pre-order too.
Unfortunately for Pokemon fans who haven’t got a Switch yet, there will be a huge Nintendo Switch shortage this year.
Will you be pre-ordering these new Pokemon games, or would you rather wait until after the release date to pick them up?
Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch sales numbers in 2021 are crazy! However, this huge demand for consoles isn’t a good thing because of the huge console parts shortage.
This is also especially bad news as the Switch Pro will allegedly release this year.
Finally, despite the success of the company’s big franchises, Nintendo will focus on creating new game series in the future.
