It’s been a while since the last drop from the retailer, but we now know that PlayStation Direct will be dropping yet another PS5 restock today, October 13!
It’s almost impossible to get your hands on a next-gen console at the moment. While the Xbox Series X is still scarce, the PS5 seems even harder to find.
Luckily, reports suggest that the PS5 stock shortage could be over soon. Plus, plenty of major retailers including Walmart and GameStop should be restocking PS5 consoles this week too.
However, one retailer that has confirmed it will be selling PS5s today is PlayStation Direct. Find out how to join in on today’s restock below.

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock – October 13
buying directly from PlayStation has been one of the best ways to get a PS5 over the last year. However, be warned, PlayStation Direct has unexpectedly canceled PS5 orders recently.
If you’ve been hunting for a PS5 for a while now, you’ll probably know how PlayStation Direct operates. This restock will work exactly the same as previous PS5 stock drops at the retailer.
PlayStation Direct has sent out emails to a lucky few gamers to give them priority access to buy a PS5. By following the link in the email they can access a priority queue.
However, if there are any PS5s left over after the priority queue, then they will almost certainly go on general sale. This will be around 2 hours later.
The October 13 PlayStation Direct PS5 restock will start at 11AM PT / 2PM ET for customers with an email invite. Then, based on previous restocks, we assume that the remaining consoles could go on general sale at 1PM PT / 4PM ET.
If you’re thinking of buying a next-gen console, then we have some useful tips for you. Find out how to stop your PS5 order from being canceled.
Also, it looks like shipment delays are becoming more common. PlayStation Direct, Walmart, and GameStop have all delayed PS5 orders.
Finally, Best Buy is now holding a series of members-only PS5 and Xbox Series X restocks. However, gamers aren’t happy with the membership fees.
